    Does Hypnosis for weight loss work ?
    I've gone to a local bookstore and seems like there are some new books on alternative weight loss methods like hypnosis for weight loss .. I was just wondering if anyone tried it and how you are feeling after the hypnosis session

    Hi,
    I am also trying to use weight loss hypnosis programs to help me to lose weight. However, I'm working with a qualified weight loss hypnosis therapist in my area for about half a year now and its great !

    Weight loss hypnosis is not a new thing in the field of weight loss. I thought it was until I talked with my hypnotherapist. In fact, weight loss hypnosis methods have been used for many years in other fields to help people stop smoking, do pain control and improve memory and of course weight management.

    I was trying quite a lot of diet and exercise routines previously before I went to see my hypnotherapist.. I did have some success but then my weight always goes up and down .. I will have a little success initially but it seems to go right back up again .. perhaps I have some uncontrollable cravings at night (its a bad habit).

    But working with a weight loss hypnosis therapist made me realize where I was going wrong, and we worked on stopping these cravings. I told her I dreaded going for exercising and had trouble staying with my diets. From there we worked out a goal on what to work on.

    After half a year of going for weight loss hypnosis sessions, I find that nowadays I don't have cravings anymore at night. It seems like I don't feel hungry anymore even when I don't eat as much as I used to. Its like quite amusing to find that I actually don't want to eat more when I feel a little full.

    And when it comes to exercise, I am finding its easy to get myself to the gym … my hypnotherapist worked out a plan for me and it made me realize the progress I was making .. and that was a big encouragement..

    So if you ask me how I am feeling after my hypnosis session, there's no difference to how I am feeling, but there is a difference in how my mind perceives when I am getting full and I seem to have a fresh source of motivation in me to get to the gym .. so it works great for me !
